The theme of this year's party was horses, and the color scheme was lavender. I was happy to see that all of my daughter's friends this year were able to attend. However, only one of them stayed until the end. The same friend who stayed overnight and we dropped off that evening.
It's official she's no longer a teenager and has entered the next decade of life. The big 2-0!!! A milestone that deserves a big celebration. But you know her, that is not something she wanted. Low key is how she rolls. No birthday song with candles, but she enjoyed all her presents and gave a few shy smiles! For an epic dinner, she had a chicken sandwich from Wendy's. The other squids had Wendy's too. Dane and I decided steak was the better choice ;)

Yesterday I had such a fun and amazing time with Mom who is getting her groove back! She spoiled me rotten, and I learned to let her. I loved just being me with the one that brought me into this world! My kids also chewed her ear off on all that she had missed while in the hospital. Next year maybe we'll celebrate at the casino!?

44 years ago, I was born! I almost arrived on the busy Vegas Strip while my dad urged her to hold off. Finally, at the hospital, she demanded the lights off! I was to be welcomed into a peaceful and blissful world. Her first words were not boy or girl..."What time is it?" My father was hopeful she could push me out in less than an hour (bet was a dinner). She won, and I wiggled through fast.

Emma played her first-ever successful prank on Sam while I was driving, Sam did not find it funny.
OMSI with Emma. M* was not happy we left without her. A mix up in communication :(
Emma hit her head at school on the playground equipment :( OUCH!!!
Emma got to ride Waylon & Grandma got to go! Unfortunately, she had a headache the entire time.
Mom took ANOTHER covid test at Walgreens. This counts as #4!
Grandma & Grandpa went to the beach… we did not watch Carly this time.
