Christian's 9th Birthday!

Can you believe Christian is 9 years old! Seems like just yesterday he was obsessed with choo-choo trains!

His party was perfect! Sunny and warm, 30+ guests, great food, and lots of fun presents! Thank you Ga-Ga for letting us celebrate at Wenzel Mountain, and for the amazing cake you made!

Thanks to everyone who came, we all had so much fun together! And I thank God for an amazing son! Christian is the most gracious humble kid I've ever known. I am so proud to be his mom.

Family update

I don't have much time these days to post. But I will try to update you on what's happening from time to time. Christian is almost 9 years old and is still very much into Lego's. Maddy has found her own niche in Gymnastics. She started a few months ago and has really excelled! She can do a handstand, cartwheel, one handed cartwheel, and even a round off dismount off the balance beam! Her first meet is Feb 13. Pics to follow!

Sam getting into all sorts of mischief! Such as stuff as much things into the toilet. Bye, bye he kept saying :) At least it wasn't my $300 ipod this time! My last one he used as a cereal stirrer. DESTROYED!!!

Science fair 2009
Christian's : What planet will I weigh the most on...... Conclusion Jupiter at a whopping 118 lbs. Earth 50 lbs... Pluto coming in last at around 3lbs. Grade A+

Maddy's 1st grade science fair project: Do magnets stick to all metals??? The title: Magnetic Attraction. She liked the valentines theme, we decorated with lots of frilly hearts, including conversation candy hearts. Grade A+

This year seems to be going so fast. Before you know it I'll be posting birthday stories and pics!

Samuel 18 months!

Samuel turned 18 months on Nov 15th. At his last doctor's visit, all went well! His weight is still on the small side 20lbs 8oz 2nd percentile. 10th percentile in height. He's just long and skinny. As far as cognitive and motor skills he is doing excellent! He can say almost anything; bathy time, Maddy go bye-bye, more drink, please. And he can sign all of these things too. We've taught him many words such as; drink, more, please, food, hot, cold, thank you, dog, cat, mama, dada, grandma, grandpa, cheese, cracker, and lots more! It's great Christian and Maddy are learning sign language in school so they can help me with teaching him all sorts of new words. Samuel is turning into a little boy right before my eyes. I'm sure I'll have some updated pics and videos after the Christmas season that I can post.
