Grandpa W* put together an amazing map that led to the treasure.
The rain did not detour these adventurers!

The kids all loved their treasure chests! Sam decorated 3, and I did the rest. ;)

Happy 4th Birthday Emmalyn!

Has amblyopia but hides her glasses/patches all over the house.
Her favorite show is Heidi.
Loves her sister's makeovers.
Still fiddles with my hair when sleepy.
Has dad wrapped around her little finger!

Cried a bit, cried a bit more. Its been a difficult year, I decided if I wanted to show a moment of weakness, it was my day to let go! Got over it, counted my blessings, then had a wonderful day.
*Day I will remember Sam taught HIMSELF how to ride a bike...you're right Sam it's all about the physics! :) Smart boy!

Happy 7th Birthday Samuel!
All he wanted for his birthday was a tuxedo, silly Sam (picture of him in tux to follow). Every day his pint-sized brain grows smarter. Watch out this kid can either shoot you with his fast draw, make you his minion, talk your ear off, or kill you with kindness! He keeps me on my toes and makes me smile every day. I love you, Sam!

Grandpa L*
During my trip to Salt Lake for my Grandpa's 90th birthday, I learned so much about this accomplished man. Listening to stories, scouring scrapbooks, but best of all was his 90th birthday memory book! Family and friends contributed with photos and favorite memories. Stories about fishing, camping, traveling, friendship, teaching, etc. My favorite stories were all the many tall tales of how Grandpa lost his pinkie finger. On the night of his birthday, he finally came clean with the truth!!!
19 years flying experience!
